Access PTM Vision
-
Select C-Customers
-
Search for a Customer with Closed Orders and select
-
Enter CTRL/H - History
-
Set the date range to one that will include previously closed orders
-
Align to a closed order
-
Select F8-Source to open the order
-
Click the Open Orders button to force the open orders window open/focus
-
Select F2-New to start a new order
-
Click on the input area on the new order (immediately without touching anything else)
-
Add a part that is in stock.
-
Note that the QTY on the order can populate initially with a qty that is not 1
-
Change the QTY on the order to 1 or 0
-
Pay the Order to have the parts pulled from the Inventory
-
Select I-Open inventory
-
Select F7-Print
-
Select R-Transactions
-
Set the date range to today and leave the part number as the part you just added to the order
-
The order in focus should be pulling parts, and the qty reduced in inventory.

Access PTM Vision
-
Select O. Open Orders
-
Select the Work orders tab
-
Select F2. New
-
Enter Customer account information
-
Exit the order
-
Select F2. New
-
Enter Customer account information
-
In the Input field, enter a Labor operation
-
Add some hours and a Tech
-
Select F4. Edit and select the Tech List dropdown
-
Assign a couple techs
-
Select Ok to exit the Labor op
-
Select Ctrl+X to mark the operation
-
Select Alt+F2 to move the item
-
Enter the order number from the first order that was created in step 2
-
Do not check the box to remove the item
-
Exit the existing order and open the other order
-
Select F4. Edit on the Labor op
-
Verify the Tech listed is still correct
