Bug 27208 - Mobile: Add Work Auth & Approvals error to save when no Labor

APPLICATION: Mobile Service Application

 

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Mobile: Add Work Auth & Approvals error to save when no Labor

  1. Access Mobile Service.  Login

  2. Select the (+) icon on the Ticket tab

  3. Create a new Ticket and select Save

  4. Reopen the ticket and select the Convert to Work Order button.

  5. On the Work Order, go to the bottom and select the (+) icon to add Service / Parts

  6. Select the Parts radio button, select the down arrow, and select a part from the dropdown.  Select Save.

  7. Select the Work Authorization or Approve Work button..  

  8. A message will display indicating This Work Order cannot be authorized because no Labor has been added.

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Labor time calculation rounding between Vision and the Mobile Application is not the same.

  1. Access the Mobile Service App and Login

  2. Create a New Ticket on the Mobile Service App. Select Save.

  3. Select the STM - Track Time for Ticket dropdown

  4. Select Start Shop Time Manager.  Stop time tracking.  

  5. Select Convert to a Work Order

  6. Select the (+) icon next to Parts/Service

  7. Select a Labor item from the dropdown.

  8. Select Save at the top 

  9. Access PTM Vision

  10. Select External Actions

  11. Import Tickets, select F6 to process.

  12. Select Work Orders and then Work Authorizations.  Select F6 to Process

  13. Review the Labor hours converted from Mobile Service are accurate to the calculations on Vision

  2. Select O. Open Orders

  3. Select the Estimates tab

  4. Select F2. New

  5. Select B. Sales Order

  7. Enter Unit Information

  8. In the Input field, enter a Labor operation and/or an Inventory item

  9. Select F6. Options/5. Export to PIP/Export to Decisiv

    1. Verify the order is successfully sent without error
