  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Verify feature 1,16 is disabled

  3. Select O. Open Orders

  4. Select F2. New

  5. Enter Customer Account information

  6. In the Input field, enter a Non-inventory part number and press enter

  7. Press X to enter Item details

  8. Enter a Description, Qty and cost

  9. Select Ok to save

  10. Select Yes to back order the part

  11. Select F6. Options/C. Deposit Utility/A. Create Deposit

  12. Enter a Deposit memo and amount

  13. Select F11. PO

  14. Select O. Order

  15. Select R. Receive

  16. Select F8. Process

  17. Exit PO's and return to the order

    1. Verify the Total Amount Due has been properly updated

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Using the Item Details F2. New button to add items to back orders is not working correctly

<<--------------------*HOW TO VERIFY THAT PROBLEM IS FIXED*----------------------->>

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select O. Open Orders

  3. Select Work orders tab

  4. Select F2. New

  5. Enter Customer account

  6. In the Input field, enter a non-inventory part number

  7. X to enter Item details window

  8. Enter in a Desc, Cost, and a BO qty

  9. Enter a valid supplier and select Ok

  10. DO NOT leave the Item details window

  11. Select F2. New at the bottom

  12. Do not change the linecode that has been defaulted, just enter a new part number, description, Cost and BO qty

  13. Do not leave the BO field after you enter a quantity, just hit the F2 New button

  14. Enter a Supplier and select Ok

  15. Repeat this process a few times and then exit the Item details screen

  16. Process the PO

  17. Select Ok on the Item Details windows that are shown

    1. Verify when returned to the open order, the back orders are properly filled

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Open an order or create a new one

  3. Add any part to the order

  4. F4 to edit the part

  5. Add a BO quantity of 1 and tab away from the field

  6. Select the Escape key or OK button to exit the item edit window

  7. Repeat steps 4 through 6, incrementing the BO quantity each time

    1. Verify no error occurs and the Back order is properly added
