  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select V. Vendor File

  3. Select F4. Edit

  4. Change the Vendor ID and Vendor Name

  5. Select F4. Edit

  6. Access the vendor.log file

    1. Verify the changes to the Name and ID have been logged

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Customer labels that are printed from the customer file will automatically print to the last printer that was used in Vision

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select C. Customer File

  3. Select F7. Print

  4. Select B. Label Utility

  5. Set Print Info to "No Contact", Label Type to "Laser 5160 Sheet" and Print Options set to "Print All"

  6. Select F7. Print

  7. Do not add any notes and select Ok

  8. Select the Print Icon on the report

    1. Verify if a Printer is setup for Reports, the correct Printer is used

    2. Verify if no Printer is setup for Reports, the Printer Chooser window is shown

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Disable the Find It Parts provider

  1. Access PTM Vision

    1. Verify Feature 5,74 is set to OD (On Demand) or AON (Always On)

  2. Select I. Inventory

  3. Select F10. Search

  4. If feature is set to OD, select Ctrl+F10

  5. Select the red IMPORTANT button shown on the FIP window

    1. Verify a dialog message is shown that states "As of 12/01/2023, Find It Parts will no longer be a provider in the Pluss Parts Network. As a result, this sidebar and all integrations involving Find It Parts will be disabled. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Customer Success team at Pluss."

  6. Select Services/Integrations/Pluss Parts Network/

    1. Verify a dialog message is shown that states "As of 12/01/2023, Find It Parts is not longer a provider in the Pluss Parts Network. As a result, this menu option has been disabled. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Customer Success team at Pluss."

APPLICATION: PTM Vision/Shop Time Manager

 

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Auto-In feature does not recognize half hour increments

 

<<-------------------------------------*SETUP INSTRUCTIONS*------------------------------------>>

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select Utilities/J. System Setup/B. Enter Sales Personnel & Techs & Users

  3. Select Esc Exit on the first window

  4. On the next window, set a Tech's Autoin time to a half hour increment

  5. Select Esc Exit twice to return to the menu

  1. Select File/Shop Time Manager

  2. Select the Tech setup with Autoin time

  3. Select a Work Order

  4. Select the Login button when the time is prior to the half hour setup

    1. Verify the Login time is set to the half hour setup for the Tech and not the exact time

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Issue with Gmail hitting app approval limit

  1. Access a version of PTM Vision that uses a gmail account that has not yet been authorized

  2. Select the Compose button

  3. Select a Customer

  4. Enter an email address and select Send

    1. Verify a message is shown that states "Pluss Mail Client is authenticating this Gmail connection. If a webpage requesting authentication appears, please allow authentication in order to continue. The email being sent will timeout in 60 seconds and will not be sent if authentication is not approved"

  5. On the browser window, give permission to the gmail account

    1. Verify the email is successfully sent
