DESCRIPTION:
Shop supplies not being included in tax
APPLICATION: PTM Vision/Open Orders/Work Orders
PROBLEM SUMMARY: When calculating sales tax on an order where Shop supplies were to be charged, we were not including the Shop supplies when calculating the Sales tax, when applicable.

Must have all System feature below correctly set in order to include Shop supplies in the sales tax calculation; verify all system features are setup before testing.

Access PTM Vision.

Select O. Open orders.

Select the Work orders tab.

Select F2. New to create a new Work order.

Enter a Customer account that is setup for tax on Labor.

Select and add a Unit.

In the Input field, F10. Search for a Labor code or enter a Labor code manually.

Once the Labor code has been added to the work order, in the Q-Hrs, enter a valid number.

Tab to the Tech field, and enter a valid Tech.

Tab back to the input field.

Verify Shop supplies have been added to the Work order.

Verify the Shop supplies charge is correct.
-
Verify the Shop supplies charge has been included in the total in which the Sales tax is calculated.
