DESCRIPTION:

Bug 8109 - Pluss Commerce: When a sync file contains an apostrophe, the data was not being added to Pluss Commerce correctly

APPLICATION:  PTM Vision/Pluss Commerce (Multiple Applications)

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  When creating Inventory items, Customer accounts, Unit numbers, Web categories, or Contact email addresses and an apostrophe was present, an error occurs and the data is not transferred online for use in Pluss Commerce applications.

**If using Pluss Commerce, complete the following tests; if not using Pluss Commerce, no testing is required as no change has been made to general functionality of PTM Vision.

<<--------------------*HOW TO VERIFY THAT PROBLEM IS FIXED*----------------------->>

Customer File:

  1. Access PTM Vision.

  2. Select C. Customer file.

  3. Select F4. Edit.

  4. Add an apostrophe to the Customer name.

    1. Verify no errors occur.

  5. Select U. Units.

  6. Add a Unit number with an apostrophe.

    1. Verify no error occurs.

  7. In the Customer file, select F9. More.

  8. Select F9. Contacts.

  9. Select F2. New.

  10. In the email address field, enter an email address with an apostrophe.

    1. Verify no error occurs.

Inventory File:

  1. Access PTM Vision.

  2. Select I. Inventory.

  3. Select F2. New and add a new part.

  4. Add an apostrophe to the name.

  5. Select Ok to save the new part number.

    1. Verify no error occurs.

  6. In the Inventory file, select the Online menu button.

  7. Select Setup categories.

  8. Select New Root button.

  9. Add a name with an apostrophe.

  10. Select Ok to add the category to the list.

  11. Select the Upload button.

    1. Verify no error occurs.

  7. Access the Inventory item.

    1. Verify on the Inventory file, the Qty is correct.

  8. Access the Qty button.

    1. Verify the Itrans stamp is correct.

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  When the Vendor code is changed by typing in the field over the current Vendor code, we are reverting to the previous vendor when leaving the field.

  1. Access PTM Vision.

  2. Select I. Inventory.

  3. Select F10. Search.

  7. Select F4. Edit.

    1. Verify the Vendor code stays in the field and is not reverted to the previously entered Vendor code.

DESCRIPTION:

Bug 11101 - (AURORA) When opening the open order screen the entire button bar on the left slides to the bottom of the screen and the button changes to the wrong button

APPLICATION: PTM Vision/Vision Menu bar

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  When Aurora Truck Parts functionality was enabled, and a PTM Vision menu bar item (Open orders, inventory, etc.) was clicked, the entire menu bar would move to the bottom of the application.

**Note: If not using the Aurora Truck Parts Integration, no testing is required.

  1. Access PTM Vision.

  2. using the mouse, click on the Open Orders button.

    1. Verify the menu bar is not moved to the bottom of the Vision application.

  3. Repeat with the other menu items, verifying each one does not move that menu bar inappropriately.
