  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select I. Inventory

  3. Select F10. Search and enter the part number needing updated

  4. Select F4. Edit

  5. Select the Edit Item button

  6. Edit the Part number and select Ok

  7. Select No to the prompt that states "Would you like to create a supersession number for XXXXXXXX"

  8. Select Yes to the prompt that states "Part number change from XXXXX to XXXXX. Would you like to update all attachments and history?"

  9. Select Yes to the prompt that states "Would you like to change all history sold?"

  10. Select Yes to the prompt that states "Would you like to change purchase history?"

  11. Select Yes to the prompt that states "Would you like to move attached images and electronic documents?"

  12. Select Yes to the prompt that states "Would you like to update all inventory transaction history with the new part number?"

    1. Verify all History sold, Purchase History, EDM/Attachments, and Itrans transactions have been moved to the new part number
