DESCRIPTION: 

Bug 8087 - Open Orders: Converting an estimate after work has been done on the Unit which has updated the mileage does not convert the updated mileage to the converted WO

APPLICATION: PTM Vision/Open Orders

 

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Converting an estimate after work has been done on the Unit which has updated the mileage does not convert the updated mileage to the converted WO

<<--------------------*HOW TO VERIFY THAT PROBLEM IS FIXED*----------------------->>

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select O. Open Order

  3. Select the Estimates tab

  4. Select F2. New

  5. Select A. Work Order

  6. Enter a Customer account with attached Units

  7. Select the Unit dropdown and select a Unit

  8. Exit the Estimate and select the Work Orders tab

  9. Select F2. New and create an order for the same Customer and Unit

  10. Add Mileage to the Unit

  11. In the Input field, enter a Labor operation

  12. Select Alt+F7. Print Bill and Close

  13. Select the Estimates tab

  14. Select F6. Options/C. Convert

  15. Select Ok on the Convert Options window

  16. Select Yes to back order, if prompted

  17. Open the newly created order

    1. Verify the Mileage has been updated from the previously closed work order

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  At times, PPN window is getting stuck open after searching for a part to add to a PO

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select P. Purchase Orders

  3. Select F4. Edit on a Purchase order

  4. Select the Part Search dropdown

  5. Select Ok on the Search entry window

  6. Select Ctrl+F10

  7. Line up on a part in the grid and select the Esc button

  8. Select No to update the part on the PO

  9. Select Ok to exit the PO

    1. Verify the PPN window is closed

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select O. Open Order

  3. Open an existing order

  4. Select F10. Search using your mouse

  5. Select Ok on the Search window to access the Search grid

  6. Select Ctrl+F10 to open the PPN window

  7. Scroll down and click on a part

  8. Click the Esc button to exit the search

  9. Click Ok to exit the order

  10. Open an existing order

  11. Select F10. Search using your mouse

  12. Select Ok on the Search window to access the Search grid

  13. Scroll down and click on a part

  14. Click the Esc button to exit the search

  15. Click Ok to exit the order

    1. Verify the PPN window is closed
