  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select A. Accounting System

  3. Select I. Accounting Utilities

  4. Select C. 1099 Utility

  5. Select OK on the Print Utility window that asks for the amount to exceed

  6. Say Yes to Omit Employee names

  7. Line up on a Vendor and select F9. Tag

  8. Select F7. Print

  9. Select C. 1096

  10. Select Ok to the Print Utility window

    1. Verify the form prints with the correct Year

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select R. Reporting

  3. Select A. Inventory

  4. Select A. Parts Grouped by Line (Onhand-Order-Sold Quantities)

  5. Select Y. Change Costs Only

  6. Uncheck the Edit Bin checkbox and select Ok

  7. Line up on an inventory item and edit the quantity

    1. Verify a sync file is triggered to send the changes online

  8. Select the Esc Exit button

  9. Select I. Inventory

  10. Select the Qty button

    1. Verify the quantity has been updated

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  User Privileges: Issue with a User in Password protection and User Level privileges

  1. Access PTM Vision 

  2. Select U-Utilities.  Make note that the User Name logged in is your profile at the top of the Menu.

  3. Select J-System Setup

  4. Select B-Enter Sales Personnel & Techs & Users.  Hit ESC twice to access the User Setup screen.  Make note of a valid User Name.

  5. Select ESC to Exit

  6. Select I-Password Protection

  7. Select Setup and locate the User Name.  Enter N-No in the Area1 thru Area7 fields

  8. Enter Y-Yes in fields Area8 thru Edit6.  Select F8-Save.  Select Yes to Save User Setups

  9. Select OK on User password Level is saved.  Select OK on the Protection Setup window

  10. Select X-ESC Exit on System Setup Menu.  Select Yes to Save all changes message

  11. Close Vision and reopen

  12. Select U-Utilities to check the username.  Username should be your Username

  13. Select D-Printer Setup.  Set a specific printer from the list and copy and paste it to all line items.

  14. Select Services/Pluss Payments/Configure User Settings.  Add a Note in the Merchant User field to show what profile is loaded.  Select OK.  A Message should display in the top right corner that a User Profile is being loaded.  Notice the Permissions of the top 6 Menu Bar items are disabled.  

  15. Select U-Utilities.  The Utility Menu Username should read the new User logged in.

  16. Select D-Printer Setup.  The printers are set to the one that was chosen in your profile.  

  17. Select Services/Pluss Payments/Configure User Settings.  The note in the Merchant User field to show what profile is loaded is not present.  Select OK
