DESCRIPTION: 

25154 - PPN: Purchase Order - Add ability to create a PO to bulk order FIP parts

APPLICATION: PTM Vision 

 

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Pluss Parts Network: Purchase Order - Add the ability to create a PO to bulk order FIP parts

Multiple Parts Ordering 

 
  1. Select P-Purchase Orders

  2. Select F2-New

  3. Select F10-Search Inventory 

  4. Enter a partial part number, keyword, or description in the Search Inventory window, and select OK will also complete a part lookup in the Inventory (F9)=Search Prices screen and FinditParts window.















 
  1. Highlight a Part to Purchase and select the Order button.

 
  1. Select Yes to the message, Would you like to continue purchasing Part#, from State, for the price listed?

 
  1. The user will be prompted to confirm the Part Order Details, which include:

    1. Line Code

    2. Item (part number)

    3. Supplier (FIP)

    4. Order Quantity



 
  1. Select OK

 
  1. The Part will display on the Purchase Order Information screen.  

  2. Select Tab or select another field to import the Cost and Vendor.

  3. If the Part is for an Order, you can select the down arrow next to the Refer field to update.

  1. A menu will display to allow the user to assign the Part to other than Stock.

 
  1. If A-Sales Order, B-Work Order, or C-Inhouse Order are selected, you will receive the Order search where the Order Number may be applied, or a New Order may be created.

    1. Once selected, select OK

 
  1. Select OK on the Purchase Order Information screen.  

 
  1. The user will be prompted to Add the part to the Order.  Select Yes.

 
  1. The Part will be added to the PO screen.

  2. To add more parts to the order, complete steps 2-15 in this section.  The Part will automatically be updated with the same Order number from the last Part.

 
  1. Once complete ordering parts, highlight one of the Parts requested to be ordered and select O-Order.

  2. Select Yes to Would you like to start a purchase from Find it Parts?



 
  1. A PO Number will be assigned to the parts and the Find It Parts Order Window will display.

































 
  1. Select the Place Order button to purchase the parts.

  1. An Order Confirmation displays.

 
  1. Receive the Parts and they will be applied to Inventory and/or the Order.
