DESCRIPTION:

Product Backlog Item 25287 - Pluss Parts Network (Find It Parts)

APPLICATION: PTM Vision/Pluss Parts Network (FindItParts)

PROBLEM SUMMARY: Integration with the FindIt Parts Network for ordering and purchasing hard to find parts from other network providers

<<-------------------------------------*SETUP INSTRUCTIONS*------------------------------------>>

Pluss Parts Network View Setup:

Run PTM Vision as Administrator
Select Services/Account/Software Utilities/Verify Libraries. Select Next on the PlussOrderNetwork Installer when prompted
Once the installer has completed, exit Vision

Pluss Parts Network Vendor Setup:

Access PTM Vision
Select V. Vendor
Select F2. New
Enter FIP for Vendor ID
Enter Find It Parts as the Name and support@finditparts.com as the Email address
Select F4. Edit to save

FinditParts Account Setup:

Select Services/Integrations/Pluss Parts Network/Sign Up or Manage FindItParts Account
Enter the following Information:
1. First Name
2. Last Name
3. Email
4. Company Name
5. Password
Select Create Account
Enter Billing Address Information
Select Save Billing Address
Select the Verify Address Information, if provided
Enter Credit Card Information
Select Save new Credit Card
Select Finish FindItParts Setup

Vision FindItParts Account Setup:

Select Services/Integrations/Pluss Parts Network/Pluss Order Network
Select F2. New
Enter the Following Information:
1. Name: Find It Parts
2. Code: FIP (Vendor code to be used for Ordering)
3. Issuer Account: Pluss
4. Provider: Customer Provider Account Number
5. Vendor Code: FIP
6. FinditParts User Name: User Name created for FindItParts Account
7. FinditParts Password: Password created for FindItParts Account
Select Ok
Enter the following information:
1. Company: Pluss Software
2. First Name: Customer First Name on FindItParts account
3. Last Name: Customer Last Name on FindItParts account
Select Ok to create account
Exit Account setup

Inventory and Pluss Parts Network:

Access PTM Vision
Select I. Inventory
Select F10. Search
1. Note: Depending on the setting in Feature 5,74, either the FindItParts window is shown automatically, or selecting the hotkey combination of Ctrl+F10 to open the window
Enter an Inventory item or select an existing Inventory item
In the Pluss Parts Network window, select an Item to order
1. Details displayed for Inventory items:
  1. Part Number
  2. Available Quantity
  3. Price
  4. Manufacturer
  5. Core Price
  6. Part Description
  7. Supplier State
  8. Lead Time
Select the Order button
Select Yes to the prompt that states "Would you like to continue purchasing XXXXXXX from XX for $XXX.XX?"
Select Ok on the Part Order Details popup
1. Details available for editing, if needed:
  1. Line Code
  2. Item (part number)
  3. Supplier
  4. Available Quantity in PTM Vision
  5. Minimum Quantity
  6. Maximum Quantity
  7. Suggested Quantity
  8. Order Quantity
On the FinditParts Payment window, select the Shipping option needed and verify the Shipping/Billing addresses are correct
Select a Credit Card to use for Payment
Select the Place Order button
Close the Payment window
Select a Freight option and select Ok
Enter Quoted Freight charge and select Ok
Select P. Purchase Order
1. Verify a Stock order has been created for the Item
2. Verify a Freight order has been created for the Item

Open Orders and Pluss Parts Network:

Access PTM Vision
Select O. Open Orders
Select F2. New
Enter Customer Account information
Select F10. Search
1. Note: Depending on the setting in Feature 5,74, either the FindItParts window is shown automatically, or selecting the hotkey combination of Ctrl+F10 to open the window
Enter an Inventory item or select an existing Inventory item
In the Pluss Parts Network window, select an Item to order
1. Details displayed for Inventory items:
  1. Part Number
  2. Available Quantity
  3. Price
  4. Manufacturer
  5. Core Price
  6. Part Description
  7. Supplier State
  8. Lead Time
Select the Order button
Select Yes to the prompt that states "Would you like to continue purchasing XXXXXXX from XX for $XXX.XX?"
Select Yes to the prompt that states "This part was found in Inventory (X Available), would you like to continue back ordering?"
Select Ok on the Part Order Details popup
1. Details available for editing, if needed:
  1. Line Code
  2. Item (part number)
  3. Supplier
  4. Order Quantity
On the FinditParts Payment window, select the Shipping option needed and verify the Shipping/Billing addresses are correct
Select a Credit Card to use for Payment
Select the Place Order button
Close the Payment window
Select a Freight option and select Ok
Enter Quoted Freight charge and select Ok
Select F11. PO
1. Verify a Stock order has been created for the Item
2. Verify a Freight order has been created for the Item

Select P. Purchase Orders
Select F2. New
Select F10. Search

5,74: Pluss Parts Network Interface Display Toggle
- AON (Always On): The Pluss Parts Network Toolbar will be available whenever you are in inventory or the parts search screen
- OD (On Demand): The Pluss Parts Network Toolbar will be available on demand using the CTRL+F10 key combination from the inventory screen or the parts search screen
- AOFF (Always Off): The Pluss Parts Network Toolbar will never display
2,9: Disable Pluss Parts Network Order Button
5,80: When toggled the Pluss Parts Network will utilize Live FindItParts Data results
