APPLICATION: PTM Vision/Inventory and Open Orders

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Issue with Inventory with revenue in GL getting setup incorrectly in QB Desktop

<<-------------------------------------*SETUP INSTRUCTIONS*------------------------------------>>

1. Access PTM Vision

2. Select A. Accounting

3. Select D. Chart of Accounts

4. Select F2. New and create a new Revenue Account

5. Tie the Revenue account to an Asset account and a Cost account

6. Exit the Chart of accounts

7. Select I. Inventory

8. Select F2. New and create a new Inventory item

9. In the GL field, enter the newly created Revenue GL account

10. Enter all other details and select F4. Edit to save

1. Access Quickbooks Desktop

2. Open the Inventory List

3. Locate the item sent over from PTM Vision and open the item for editing

   1. Verify the Asset, Revenue, and Cost accounts are setup correctly
