0 – (zero) Costing/Sales

The number zero in the memo field will allow the part to be sold without entering a quantity simply enter the selling price on the inventory screen. Miscellaneous charges can be sold this way and tracked to a separate General Ledger account separate from regular inventory and parts sales.  This also will zero the selling price on parts in a kit but keep the cost associated with the part.  Doing this also removes the cost from the kit part number but puts a total sales price for the whole kit attached to the kit part number.
