Click on the Last Year tab
The system will be out of balance by the profit or loss and ask if you would like to adjust this to retained earnings. 
I press yes

Do an F4- to edit and zero any amounts in the drawing/dividend accounts for the owners.
F6 - options
F - adjust difference to retained earnings and follow the prompts
