DESCRIPTION: 

Bug 8289 - Parts with Popularity codes A-E are not being reordered automatically.

APPLICATION: PTM Vision/Open Orders and Purchase Orders  

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  When automatic reordering was turned on in Vision, Popularity codes A-E were not properly triggering reorders when quantity dropped below minimum after an order was closed.

**Must have all Automatic reordering features set correctly and inventory items with Popularity codes A-E.

**If Automatic reordering is not used, no testing is required.

<<--------------------*HOW TO VERIFY THAT PROBLEM IS FIXED*----------------------->>

1. Access PTM Vision.

2. Select O. Open orders.

3. F2. New.

   1. Does not matter if the order is a Sales type or Work type.

4. Enter a Customer account number.

5. In the Input field, enter a part number.

   1. Order must take part quantity below the set minimum.

6. Print/Bill/Close the Invoice.

7. Once the invoice has been closed, access P. Purchase orders.

   1. Verify a purchase order has been created to fulfill the part’s maximum on hand quantity setting.

• 4,25 OFF: Disable updating purchase orders automatically.

• 4,6 OFF: Turn off auto reorder in purchase orders.

• U. Utilities/J. System Setup/J.Sales Tax/N. Update purchase orders automatically - Set to Y.
