Product Backlog 4193 - Changes to registered users display

APPLICATION: PTM Vision

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Changes have been made to the Device Management Display shown in the upper-right corner of the software.

      1. NOTE: if you are exceeding the amount of registered devices, a message to Contact Pluss Support is shown.

DESCRIPTION:

Product Backlog 4787 - Interchange field should not be editable

APPLICATION: PTM Vision/Inventory  

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  The ability to edit the Interchange field from the Inventory main screen has been removed. Interchanges can be added/edited/viewed from the F11 Interchanges window from Inventory. The first interchange added to the list will be displayed and read-only in the Interchanges field.

  2. Select I. Inventory.

  3. Select F10. Search and locate a part with interchanges.

    1. Verify the Interchanges field has been changed to read-only and cannot be edited.

    2. Verify the Interchanges field displays the first Interchange from the Inchanges window.

  5. Select F11. Interchanges.

    1. Verify the ability to add/edit/view the Interchange list.

DESCRIPTION:

Bug 8016 - When pulling a Core return, we are not putting the qty into inventory in order to start the return process

APPLICATION:  PTM Vision/Open Orders 

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  When moving an item from the Price file to Inventory when adding to a Work order was not stamping the ITRANS record.

**Need to have parts in the Price file in order to test this fix.

  1. Access PTM Vision.

  2. Select O. Open Orders.

  3. Select the Work orders tab.

  4. Add a Customer and a Unit.

  5. In the Input field, enter a part number that is in the Price file and press tab.

  6. Select Yes to the dialog message asking to move the part to the Price file.

  7. While still in the Invoice, select the Inventory icon from the left-hand toolbar.

    1. Verify you are taken into inventory and are lined up on the correct part.

  8. Select the Qty button.

    1. Verify an entry has been made in the Itrans for the Price fle move.

DESCRIPTION:

Bug 7691 - Structure updates not triggered on Branches after Branch 1

APPLICATION:   PTM Vision/Branches

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  After accessing Branch 1, any branches accessed in the future does not run structure updates.

**If using multiple branches, testing is required; If Branching is not used, no testing is required.

  1. Access PTM Vision.

  2. Select Services/Branch Manager/Branch setup.

  3. Line up on Branch 1 and select F8. Load.

    1. Verify when the branch loads, a structure update is completed.

  4. Select Services/Branch Manager/Branch Setup.

  5. Line up on Branch 2 and select F8. Load.

    1. Verify when branch 2 loads, a structure update is completed.

**If more branches are used, testing can be done by repeating steps 2 through 3a on each additional branch.

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  When editing qty in Inven and you select No to keep selling prices/change margins, we are changing margins to the default

**Verify the Defaults margins set in U. Utilities, J. System setup, G. Set hot keys for Part#/Margin.

<<--------------------*HOW TO VERIFY THAT PROBLEM IS FIXED*----------------------->>

  1. Access Vision.

  2. Select I. Inventory.

  3. Select F2. New to add a new inventory.

  4. Add part detail and cost, tab away from the field.

  5. Select Yes to maintain current margins.

    1. Verify the margins set are the same as the default margins in U,J,G.

    2. Verify the margins are set as the default line code, and not the default margins, if a line code exists.

    3. Verify the margins are set the same IF another part exists in the system with the same line code.

  6. Select I. Inventory.

  7. Select F2. New to add a new inventory.

  8. Add part detail and cost, tab away from the field.

  9. Select No to maintain current margins.

    1. Verify the margins set are the same as the default margins in U,J,G.

    2. Verify the margins are set as the default line code, and not the default margins, if a line code exists.

    3. Verify the margins are set the same IF another part exists in the system with the same line code.

  10. Select I. Inventory.

  11. F10. Search for a part.

  12. Select F4. Edit to edit the inventory item.

  13. Edit the cost,  and tab away from the field.

  14. Select Yes to maintain current margins.

    1. Verify the margins do not change, and the costs are adjusted to the edit cost and the current margins.

  15. Select I. Inventory.

  16. F10. Search for a part.

  17. Select F4. Edit to edit the inventory item.

  18. Edit the cost,  and tab away from the field.

  19. Select No to maintain current margins.

    1. Verify the margins are changed, and the costs are not adjusted.

  1. Access Vision.

  2. Select O. Open orders.

  3. Select the Sales order or Work order tab.

    1. For testing purposes, it does not matter which order type is selected.

  4. Select F2. New.

  5. Enter in a customer account number.

  6. Create a new WO with a Part with a core that is currently in stock.

  7. When asked how many Cores the customer returned, enter 1.

  8. Line up on the Core part with the positive qty on the invoice.

  9. ALT+P and say Yes to pull the part from Inventory.

    1. Access Inventory and verify the Core has been placed into inventory in order to start the return process in PO’s.

    2. Verify that a return PO is created when Alt+P is selected.
