The Class Code Tools is located in the Class Code Manager viewing screen (accessed on the Inventory screen with [Ctrl] & G  or the Class Button at the bottom) the [F6] Options will open up an Options Menu as shown below.  These tools allow the user to change or assign class codes based on any criteria on existing inventory items.

A. Set Class Code By Part Number - to modify class codes by the part number, or sequence within the part number such as anything with 123 in the part number 
B. Set Class Code By Cost Value - set class codes by a range of cost in dollars; such as anything from a cost of zero up to 10.00 cost
C. Set Class Code By Description - set class codes by description; such as anything in that line with the word BEARING in the description
D. Enter Condition For Code - use any field and any condition / criteria to set class codes; refer to a PTM certified specialist for assistance
E. Change Class Code From Class Code - to change an existing class code over to another class code 
F. Update Price File - when changes are made to a class code the system will prompt to update, you can select No and activate the change later on existing Price File records 
G. Update Inventory File - when changes are made to a class code the system will prompt to update, you can select No and activate the change later on existing records
