DESCRIPTION: 

A situation where the system could freeze when creating a new account #

APPLICATION: PTM Vision/Customer File   

 

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Invoice # being used can be out of order and is causing issues.

<<--------------------*HOW TO VERIFY THAT PROBLEM IS FIXED*----------------------->>

  1. Access Vision.

  2. Access the Customer file.

  3. F2. New.

  4. Add all customer information including a Phone#, Name, Address, etc.

  5. Select F4. Edit to save the new customer.

    1. Verify no error(s) occurs when the customer file is added.

  6. Select F2. New.

    1. Verify the new Acct# Vision has added to the customer is the correct number.

    2. Verify the Acct# added isn’t a duplicate of another account.

    3. NOTE: if an acct# already existed in Vision and the next New customer added would have used that Acct#, verify Vision correctly skips the used account number and choses the next available number.
