APPLICATION: PTM Vision/Open Orders

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Issue with back order costing when a decisiv order is not imported and backorder billing is turned off

1. Access PTM Vision

2. Select O. Open Orders

3. Select the Sales order tab

4. Select F2. New Order

5. Enter Customer Account Number

6. In the Input field, enter an Inventory item with no in stock quantity

7. Select Yes to back order, if prompted

8. In the Input field, enter a Inventory with quantity in stock

9. Select Alt+F7. Print bill and Close

10. Select B. Move to New order, if prompted

11. Once the order has been closed, access C. Customer file

12. Search for the Customer that was used on the order

13. Select F8. Ar

    1. Verify the Back ordered part cost did not get added to the Part cost GL by line up on the closed order and selecting F9. Ext
