DESCRIPTION: 

Bug 17555 - Open Orders: Using only the keyboard to Search Customer/Unit from F10. History from the Open Orders window can cause a misalignment of data

APPLICATION: PTM Vision/Open Orders/History Search

 

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Using only the keyboard to Search Customer/Unit from F10. History from the Open Orders window can cause a misalignment of data

<<--------------------*HOW TO VERIFY THAT PROBLEM IS FIXED*----------------------->>

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select O. Open Orders

  3. Select F10. Search History

  4. In the 'Search by Customer Name' field, type in a Customer Name

  5. Select the Search arrow on the 'Search by Customer Name' field

  6. Press enter to select the Customer

  7. Press enter to access the 'Search by Unit #' field

  8. Select F10. Search

  9. Type in a Unit# for the Customer and press Enter twice to add the unit to the Search

  10. Press Enter on the keyboard to reach the Ok button

    1. Verify the search populates the correct list for Customer/Unit

  11. Press Esc key on the keyboard to leave the Search

  12. Repeat steps 3-9, using only the keyboard to populate the same list again

    1. Verify the search populates the correct list for Customer/Unit

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Editing an AR record does not trigger a sync to Pluss Portal

<<--------------------*HOW TO VERIFY THAT PROBLEM IS FIXED*----------------------->>

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select C. Customer File

  3. Select F8. AR

  4. Select the Rec button

  5. Line up on a Payment and select F4. Edit

  6. Edit the Amount and select F4. Edit to save the change

  7. Exit the Customer file

  8. Access the Pluss Portal website

  9. Login to the Customer account used in the steps above

  10. Select the Invoices tab

    1. Note: The Invoices tab may have a different name depending on website setup. Access tab that contains Customer Invoices

  11. Locate the Payment that was edited

    1. Verify the Amount has been updated to match the change made to the record in the business system

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select C. Customer File

  3. Select F8. AR

  4. Select F2. New

  5. Enter a Memo in the Details field

  6. Enter an amount in the Unapplied field

  7. Select F4. Edit to save the record

  8. Exit the Customer file

  9. Access the Pluss Portal website

  10. Login to the Customer account used in the steps above

  11. Select the Invoices tab

    1. Note: The Invoices tab may have a different name depending on website setup. Access tab that contains Customer Invoices

  12. Locate the newly created record

    1. Verify the new record has been added to the Portal and all details are correct

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select C. Customer File

  3. Select F8. AR

  4. Select F12. ROA

  5. Enter a Memo and an Amount to credit

  6. Select Ok to create Credit

  7. Select F8. Process

  8. Select Yes to create credit

  9. Select a Salesman

  10. Select a Salesman

  11. Select No to scan

  12. Exit the Customer file

  13. Access the Pluss Portal website

  14. Login to the Customer account used in the steps above

  15. Select the Invoices tab

    1. Note: The Invoices tab may have a different name depending on website setup. Access tab that contains Customer Invoices

  16. Locate the Account Balance

    1. Verify the Account balance on the website matches the Account balance for the Customer in the business system

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select O. Open Orders

  3. Select the Work Orders tab

  4. Select F2. New Order

  5. Enter Customer account number

  6. In the Input field, enter Inventory part(s)/Labor operation(s)

  7. Select Alt+F7. Print Bill and Close

  8. Select D. Charge to Account

  9. Access PTM Vision

  10. Select C. Customer File

  11. Select F8. AR

  12. Select F12. ROA

  13. Enter the Order Number in the Memo/Check field

  14. Enter the Amount of the order and select Ok to create the Credit

  15. Line up on the Order in the grid and select Y. Yes

    1. Verify the record is set to PAID

  16. Select F8. Process

  17. Select Yes to create credit

  18. Select a Salesman

  19. Select No to print a Receipt

  20. Exit the Customer file

  21. Access the Pluss Portal website

  22. Login to the Customer account used in the steps above

  23. Select the Invoices tab

    1. Note: The Invoices tab may have a different name depending on website setup. Access tab that contains Customer Invoices

  24. Locate the Order that was updated to P for Posted

    1. Verify the Amount has been updated to match the change made to the record in the business system
