Bug 19911 - Customers: When a Customer Name is updated in Quickbooks, we are creating a duplicate customer in Vision instead of updating the existing Customer

 

 

APPLICATION: PTM Vision/Customer File and Quickbooks Desktop Integration/Customers

 

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  When a Customer Name is updated in Quickbooks, we are creating a duplicate customer in Vision instead of updating the existing Customer

<<--------------------*HOW TO VERIFY THAT PROBLEM IS FIXED*----------------------->>

  1. Access the Quickbooks Desktop Application

  2. Open the Customer List

  3. Select a Customer that exists both in Quickbooks and PTM Vision

  4. Update the Customer Name and/or Company Name

  5. Select Ok to save the changes

  6. Access PTM Vision

  7. Select C. Customer File

  8. Select F10. Search

  9. Enter the Customer name that was updated in Quickbooks

    1. Verify the Customer in Vision has been updated and a duplicate Customer file has not been created
