DESCRIPTION: 

Bug19862 - Unable to refund credit cards after original charge through a 2- account

APPLICATION: PTM Vision

 

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Unable to refund credit cards after original charge through a 2- account

 

<<-------------------------------------*SETUP INSTRUCTIONS*------------------------------------>>

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select O-Open Orders

  3. Select F2-New

  4. Tab through the Account Number and leave as 2  - 

  5. Enter the Customer Name, Address, City , State, Zip

  6. Select Ctrl-I Input

  7. Add Parts and Or Labor with time 

  8. Select F7 Print, A-Print Bill/Close

  9. Select C-Pay $#.## by Credit Card on Billing Options menu

  10. Provide Credit Card Input and receive Success message

  11. Print a Receipt for the Customer

 

<<--------------------*HOW TO VERIFY THAT PROBLEM IS FIXED*----------------------->>

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select O-Open Orders

  3. Select F10-Search History

  4. Enter the name of the customer in the Search by Customer Name field, select OK

  5. Highlight the result, select F9-Refund

  6. Select Yes to Build a return Work Order message box

  7. Select F7 Print, A-Print Bill/Close

  8. Select C-Pay $-#.## by Credit Card on Billing Options menu

  9. Select OK to confirm the Refund Total - Success Message, transaction is complete

  10. Print a Receipt for the Customer
