APPLICATION: PTM Vision/User Permission

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Removal of the second button on the left hand menu in vision causing issues with password protection

1. Access PTM Vision

2. Select U-Utilities

3. Select J-System Setup

4. Select I-Password Protection 

5. Select User Level Protection

6. Select Yes to enable User Level Protection 

7. Select the Setup button

8. Next to the username, Enter N in the Area7 column

9. Select F8 Save

10. Select OK On the Protection Setup window

11. Select X. Esc Exit

12. Select Yes to Save

    1. Verify A. Accounting System Vision Tool bar menu is disabled

    2. Verify using the Hotkey Letter A, and Shift+F7. Accounting System are also disabled.
