Bug 18067 - QBDI: Need the Tax Area's decimals taken out to the fourth place
APPLICATION: PTM Vision/Customer file/Tax Areas and Quickbooks Desktop/Sales Tax Item
PROBLEM SUMMARY: Need the Tax Area's decimals taken out to the fourth place

Access PTM Vision
-
Select C. Customer File
-
Select F4. Edit
-
Select Ctrl+T. Tax Area
-
Select F2. New
-
Enter a Tax Area Code
-
Select F4. Edit
-
In the Percent field, enter a tax percentage that carries out to the fourth decimal place
-
i.e. 10.1111%
-
-
Select F4. Edit to save the new tax area to the customer
-
Select Ok to exit the Tax Area window
-
Select F4. Edit on the Customer file
-
Verify the new Tax Area/Percentage have been set on the Customer
-
-
Exit the Customer file

Select Quickbooks Desktop Application

Open the Customer file and locate the Customer whose tax area was updated

Verify the Tax Area has been updated for the Customer

Open the Item List (Inventory)

Locate the Sales Tax Item added

Verify the Tax percentage is shown out to the fourth decimal place
