  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select I. Inventory

  3. Select Ctrl + G - Class Codes

  4. Select F6. Tools

  5. Select B. Set Class Code By Cost Value

  6. Enter in a From/To value that would yield results

  7. Select U. Update

  8. Select Yes to update parts with this class and line code

  9. Select Ok to the dialog message that states "Completed updating class codes in Inven class: XXX"

    1. Verify when returned to the Data preview, only the updated parts are shown

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select O. Open Orders

  3. Select the Work or Sales order tab and open an existing order

  4. Select Ok to close the order

  5. Leaving the Open orders window open, select the Purchase orders button from the Vision tools menu on the left hand side using the mouse

  6. Access Open orders by selecting the open window in the background

  7. Select Purchase orders again using the tools menu button on the left hand side using the mouse

    1. Verify the Purchase orders buttons are available for use

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. O. Open Orders (Shift + F1)

  3. Select F2. New Order

  4. Enter Customer account number

  5. In the Input field, enter a part number setup with an Alternate Supplier/Part number

  6. Back order the part

    1. Access Purchase orders and verify the AltNo field has been filed in with the Alternate part number; Exit Purchase orders

  7. In the Input field, enter an S/O part

  8. Select F8. Process

  9. Enter in the same Vendor used to create the Back order

  10. Select Yes to the dialog that states "Add to purchase orders for XXXXX?"

  11. Select Yes to the dialog that states "Purchase order already exists for this order. Use this PO#?"

  12. Select F11. PO

    1. Verify that an AltNo has not been assigned to the S/O part

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select I. Inventory

  3. Select F6. Options

  4. Select Import Options

  5. Select Import to Price Files

  6. Select the Price file to import from the File chooser window

  7. Enter COL1 in the Part Number field

  8. In the next dialog popup, enter a Vendor Code and a Line Code, if needed

  9. Select Ok to save

  10. Continue to setup the columns as needed

  11. Select F8. Import

  12. Select A. Update Price File

  13. Select Esc to leave the Import window

  14. Once returned to Inventory, select F10. Search

    1. Verify none of the Price file inventory items imported have been added to the main Inventory and all have remained in the Price file

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  When syncing inventory to the database, we do not remove deleted inventory causing inventory that no longer exists in the Vision Inventory in the database

<<--------------------*HOW TO VERIFY THAT PROBLEM IS FIXED*----------------------->>

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select I. Inventory

  3. Select F10. Search

  4. Search for a Part to delete

  5. Select F5. Delete

  6. Select Yes to the dialog that states "Are you sure you want this record deleted (Y/N)"

  7. Select Yes to the dialog that states "Are you really sure you want to delete!?"

    1. Verify the part is deleted from Inventory

    2. Verify if the part was for sale online, a dialog is shown that states "Are you sure you want to stop selling this part online?"

      1. Verify if Yes is selected to the dialog, the part s not longer available on the pluss commerce website

      2. Verify if No is selected to the dialog, the part is still for sale on the Pluss commerce website, but it is no longer shown in the Vision Inventory

  6. Line up on a Mechanic and select F5. Manage tech

  7. Select Yes to the dialog that states "Would you like to exclude XXXX from Scheduler?

  8. Select Esc on the Scheduler

  9. Select S. Scheduler

    1. Verify the Mechanic is no longer shown on the Schedule

  10. Select Options from the Tools menu

  11. Select Ctrl+R. Resource Scheduling

  12. Select Yes to the dialog that states "Would you like to setup the Default schedules?"

  13. Line up on the disabled Mechanic and select F5. Manage tech

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select O. Open Orders

  3. Select the Work Orders tab

  4. Select an existing open order to use for testing

    1. If one is not available, select F2. New to create a new order

  5. In the Input field, enter a Stocking part number with a core charge and quantity in stock

  6. Once the part is on the order, select F5. Delete and remove the part and the core charge

  7. Select F6. Options/B. Utilities/I. Deleted Parts report

  8. Select the checkbox for This order only

  9. In the Part number field, enter the Line code of the deleted part

    1. Verify both the part and core charge are shown

  10. Exit the report

  11. Select F6. Options/B. Utilities/I. Deleted Parts report

  12. Select the checkbox gor This order only

  13. In the Line Code field, enter the Line code for the deleted part

    1. Verify only the Part is shown and not the core charge

  14. Exit the report
