Save Tech notes with Job Code
Yes:  saves the notes to the job description along with a copy of the job description in the mechanic Memo/notes Blob field
Notes:  saves the notes only in the mechanic Memo / note Blob field
No:  does not save the notes to the workorder just leaves them as notes/Memo on the techs time

Notes The large area shown in Yellow is the Notes field. The Description of the Job typed here will print for the Customer, the first line of the description is the default line used on a non-inventoried job as the Service Code.

This field is a ‘blob’ field, which allows for mixed characters, multiple lines and unlimited input therefore the Enter key will only open up a new line, use the [Tab] key to move from the Notes field to the Assigned Tech Field.

*Special Note: to hide the text on the Service Notes and keep them from printing place a / as the first character on the Note area (the / is on the keyboard with the ? on the right hand side of the keyboard).

Technotes The Technotes field is hidden from the Customer’s view, if a Tech records notes on the Logout screen in the Time Clock the M in memo will be upper case, highlight the Mechanic time record line and select the [F11] Notes options to read the details. The Technotes can be copied to the Notes area up top if the notes will be helpful for explaining the operation to the customer.

[F7] Report The Report feature will report on the selected labor job only showing the details in a report titled Time Report by Workorder and Operation, this report displays Actual Time and any Tech Notes.
