PRINTING CHECKS
Checks can be printed or reprinted at any time. Checks can be printed one at a time as they are created or printed in a batch, depending on the needs of the user. On the Check Register screen it is suggested to highlight the check or first check to be printed and press [F7] the system will prompt with the Printing Options list.
A. Print Check
Option A. Print Check brings up the Enter Check Range prompt.
Printing a Single Check
The example below is showing only the check number that was selected when [F7] was pressed, to only print the highlighted check select <<OK>>.
Printing Multiple Checks
To print more then just one check but not several checks or just a few specific checks use the comma to separate the numbers as shown.
To print more then a couple of checks use the dash to indicate the from and to check numbering sequence as shown in the example five checks will be printed in the batch selected.
*Note: if after printing the running balance and detail totals display as zeros simply press V to View and select D. View All Running Balance—this screen display issue is a result of delayed or slow printer commands which the software cannot prevent.
