DESCRIPTION: 

Bug 15332 - Time Clock: Billed hours on a WO dropping to 0 when estimate is converted to a WO and tech logs into the job from the time clock

APPLICATION: PTM Vision/Open Orders

 

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Billed hours on a WO dropping to 0 when estimate is converted to a WO and tech logs into the job from the time clock

***Time Clock Setting for Updating Billed Hours on Logout must be turned OFF for testing***

<<--------------------*HOW TO VERIFY THAT PROBLEM IS FIXED*----------------------->>

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select O. Open Orders

  3. Select the Estimates tab

  4. Select F2. New Order

  5. Enter Customer account number

  6. In the Input field, enter a Labor operation

  7. Add hours to the Labor operation for the 0 tech

  8. Exit the Estimate

  9. Select F6. Options

  10. Select C. Convert

  11. Select Ok to the Estimate Convert Options popup

    1. Note: Any of the information can be changed here if needed, but defaulted values are acceptable for testing

  12. If prompted, select No to backorder all low quantity items

  13. Exit the Work Order

  14. Exit Open Orders

  15. Select File/Timeclock

  16. Select a Tech from the list

  17. Select the Work order that was just converted from Open orders

  18. Click the Login button

  19. Select Yes to the dialog that states "Would you like tech X to log in?"

    1. At this point, wait a bit of time in order to have a good time in/time out record

  20. Select the Logout button

  21. Exit the Time Clock

  22. Select O. Open Orders

  23. Access the Work order tab and open the Work order used for testing

    1. Verify the Hours shown are still what was entered on the Labor operation prior to converting

  24. Select F4. Edit on the Labor operation

    1. Verify the Billed hours do not drop to 0
