DESCRIPTION:
Bug 12941 - Purchase Orders: Splitting orders in PO's is locking up Vision
APPLICATION: PTM Vision/Purchase Orders
PROBLEM SUMMARY: When in Receiving mode of a Purchase order that was originally tied to an open work/sales order and the Reference was changed to STOCK, when the Quantity was edited, the Vision system was freezing

Access PTM Vision
-
Select O. Open orders
-
Select the Work/Sales Order tab
-
Select F2. New
-
Enter in Customer account information
-
In the Input field, enter or search for a part number that has 0 in stock quantity
-
Back Order Qty of 2
-
In the Input field, enter another part number that has in stock quantity.
-
Line up on the Back ordered part and select F5. Delete
-
Select Yes to the delete dialog
-
Select No to remove the back order.
-
Exit Open orders
-
Access P. Purchase orders
-
Locate the Purchase order created from the open order
-
F4. Edit and change the Refer field to STOCK
-
Select Ok to save the change
-
While still lined up on the same Purchase order, select O to order
-
Select R to enter Receiving mode
-
Select F4. Edit and change the Quantity from 2 to 1.
-
Select Ok to save the change
-
Select Yes to the “Would you like to split” dialog popup
-
Verify Vision does not freeze
