DESCRIPTION: 

Bug 8342 - Time clock is allowing a tech to log in to an On Hold job

APPLICATION: PTM Vision/Time Clock

 

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Time clock is allowing a tech to log in to an On Hold job

 

<<-------------------------------------*SETUP INSTRUCTIONS*------------------------------------>>

  • Must be using the Time Clock Module to Login to Jobs on Workorders; Otherwise, no testing is required

<<--------------------*HOW TO VERIFY THAT PROBLEM IS FIXED*----------------------->>

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select File/Time Clock

    1. Or, Access Time Clock through Time Clock Icon, if setup.

  3. Select a Tech from the list

  4. Select the WO# tab and select a Work order

  5. Click on the Folder icon to login to a Job

  6. Select Yes to the dialog message that states "WORKORDER: XXXX  LABOR DESCRIPTION: Complaint: Cause: Correction: Would you like tech X to log in?"

  7. Once logged into a Job, select the Log out button

  8. Once the Log out screen is shown, select the Hold button

  9. Select the Close/Save button to Logout and return to the login screen

  10. Select the WO# tab

  11. Line up on the same Job previously logged in to

    1. Verify the Status field shows an H, signifying the order is On Hold.

  12. Select the Folder icon to try and log in to the On Hold Job

    1. Verify a dialog message is shown that states "This operation is already marked as On-Hold. Please select another operation to log in to."

DESCRIPTION: 

Bug 11842 - Branch: Fees.dbf not included in Branch Data mover or when a Branch is created

APPLICATION: PTM Vision/Branch

 

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Fees data not included in Branch Data mover or when a Branch is created

 

<<-------------------------------------*SETUP INSTRUCTIONS*------------------------------------>>

**No testing is required unless creating a new Branch; Only follow the steps below if a new branch needs to be created

<<--------------------*HOW TO VERIFY THAT PROBLEM IS FIXED*----------------------->>

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select Services/Branch Manager/Branch Setup

  3. Select F2. New

  4. Select Yes to the dialog message that states “Are you sure that you would like to create a new branch?”

  5. Enter in a Store name and Branch letter

  6. Select Yes to the dialog message that asks “Copy default files to directory?”

  7. In the Company heading change popup, enter in a Branch company name, and verify both of the following boxes are checked:

    1. Use Main Branch Setup/Utility

    2. Include Main Branch Inventory

  8. Select the Ok button to create the Branch

  9. Select Yes to the dialog message that states “Yes: Keep seperate orders; No: Consolidate Orders”

  10. When the Branch Mover Utility is shown, change the branch number to the newly created branch number

  11. On the Tables Available side of the popup, select the Fees Table from the list and use the arrow to move it over to the Tables in Branch side.

  12. Select A. Install Complete Data

  13. Select Close to create the Branch

  14. Line up on the newly created branch, and select F8. Load branch

  15. Access I. Inventory

  16. Locate a part with a Fee

  17. Select the Fees button

    1. Verify the Fee has been moved with the correct details attached.

Bug 12196 - Customer: When changing the Tax area of a Customer, the % does not update until you enter the Ctrl+t area

APPLICATION: PTM Vision/Customer File

 

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Customer: When changing the Tax area of a Customer, the % does not update until you enter the Ctrl+t area

**Need to have different Tax area’s created with different Tax percentages.

<<--------------------*HOW TO VERIFY THAT PROBLEM IS FIXED*----------------------->>

  1. Access PTM Vision.

  2. Select C. Customer file.

  3. Select F10. Search and locate a customer to use for testing

  4. Select F4. Edit.

  5. Select the Tax area dropdown, and select a different Tax area (preferably with a tax area with a different tax percentage).

    1. Verify the Tax % field changed to the correct Tax percentage for the selected Tax area when the Tax area was changed.

Bug 12550 - Accounting: Change date on 940 form for 2018

APPLICATION:  PTM Vision/Accounting/Payroll 

 

 PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Update the 940 Tax Forms for the year.

**NOTE: If not using Vision Payroll, no testing is required.

 

<<--------------------*HOW TO VERIFY THAT PROBLEM IS FIXED*----------------------->>

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select A. Accounting

  3. Select G. Payroll System

  4. Select C. Report Payroll

  5. Select L. Report FUTA SUTA Exempt/Over & 940

  6. In the popup, remove the 0 from the Enter Quarter field.

  7. Select the 940 Annual Checkbox and select Ok

  8. Do not make any changes to the next popup and select Ok to continue.

  9. Select Ok on the Amount popup

    1. No need to enter amounts for this test

  10. Select Ok on the Overpayment/Liability popup

    1. No need to enter amounts for this test

  11. Select A. Report Page 1

    1. Verify the Dates on the form correspond to the correct tax year

  12. Exit the Page 1 report

  13. Select B. Report Page 2

    1. Verify the Dates on the form correspond to the correct tax year
