Bug 8595 - Year End: When the 'Zero quantity sold' checkbox is selected during the Year end process, Vision was not zeroing the quantity for Multi-store inventories

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Year End: When the 'Zero quantity sold' checkbox is selected during the Year end process, Vision was not zeroing the quantity for Multi-store inventories

**If Multi-Store Inventories are not being used, no testing is required.

<<--------------------*HOW TO VERIFY THAT PROBLEM IS FIXED*----------------------->>

  1. Access PTM Vision.

    1. Verify the Year end process is followed correctly; Contact Pluss Support for assistance.

  2. U. Utilities.

  3. K. File Utilities.

  4. H. End of Year Preparation.

  5. When the Year End Operation prompt is shown, check the Zero Quantity Sold on Inventory Items.

  6. Allow the Year end process to complete.

    1. Verify all Year end processes have been completed.

  7. Access I. Inventory.

  8. Select F10. Search and locate an item from a Multi-store inventory

    1. Verify the Quantity Sold field has been zeroed out.

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Year End (Branch): We do not display the dialog message that states that the Year end is complete (You see the popup message at the top that states Year end complete accept Redistribution.

  1. Access PTM Vision.

    1. Verify the Year end process is followed correctly; Contact Pluss Support for assistance.

  2. U. Utilities.

  3. K. File Utilities.

  4. H. End of Year Preparation.

  5. Allow the Year end process to complete.

    1. Verify all Year end processes have been completed.

  6. Access A. Accounting.

    1. Verify in the Chart of Accounts, all balances, In/Out, are correct.

  7. Select Services/Branch Manager/Branch Setup and load the branch

  8. Once the Branch is loaded, run the Year end process just as was done in the Main branch.

  9. Allow all Year end processes to complete in the Branch.

    1. Verify a dialog message is shown that states “The year end process is completed.”

PROBLEM SUMMARY:  Open Orders: When closing orders, a progress bar is showing, slowing down the process of closing an order sometimes for 45 to 60 seconds

**If not using Preventative Maintenance Module and Units, no testing is required and no functionality has been changed to affect closing orders with Unit information.

  1. Access PTM Vision

  2. Select O. Open orders

  3. Select F2. New Order

  4. Enter a Customer account that utilizes Preventative maintenance and has a large amount of open orders.

  5. Select a Unit

  6. Select F7. Print

  7. Select A. Print bill and Close

    1. Verify the order closes without any hesitation or errors.
