When a Customer Returns a Part or a Core the history search screen can be used to verify the correct selling price and return reference are used.
Open a new sale for the Customer
Input field type the part number if known, if not simply type the line code or leave it empty
Press [Ctrl] & H for the History search ([F6] Options, K. Parts Features, Sale History - with the Ctrl & H indicated as the Hot Key).
Use the search for that customer only, when the History list appears highlight the appropriate item to select it.
[F11] Return, the system will prompt to use the last pricing (customer's last recorded price) select Yes
The Item Details View will show the details of the return, notice the negative quantity, the cost and selling price will be the same as when it was originally purchased
NOTE: if your return item does not show the reference number for the original sale please turn on feature 4,26 "Would you like the core bank status memo"
If the item is a Non-Inventoried item it will prompt to place it in your Inventory or Return the item to a vendor "Return PO" -- choose the appropriate response
