Vision makes corrections to General Ledger accounts easy and check correction is no exception to this rule.

To correct an expense account on an issued check all that has to be done is opening the check for edit and selecting the correct account. Once this is done it will be hitting the correct account and financials will be correct.

To do this first Highlight on the check that needs to be corrected. Next F4/Edit button. (This is what opens the check to be edited) Select the account the down arrow next to the account that needs to be corrected. This will bring up the list of accounts. You can select the one needed by typing in the name or the number.  If you know what account is should be you can simply enter the number in.

One reminder if the check is paying a invoice that is in payable area the expense needs to be corrected there not on the check itself.

If you get a notice when trying to open the check that says "Month Locked" you will have to contact the person who has access to this area prior to correcting the check.
