B. Edit Barcode UPC [B]

In the Inventory search screen [F10] or [Shift] & [F10] search - simply press the letter B or use [F6] options and B to access the Enter Bar Code option as shown.

 

This features allows you to amend or add a UPC/Barcode number directly from the search screen to the part that is currently highlighted.

Remember; a Barcode or UPC is simply an electronic tag used by a reader to retrieve and identify and items information – that information still must be setup in the Inventory data.  If you put bad information in here it will cause issues at point of sale when trying to sell the part.  Refer to Barcode Setup and Use for more information.
