By default, Vision uses 4 decimal places (i.e. 1.0001). This can be accomplished either by Line code, or by the entirety of the inventory.
VITAL FIRST STEP: Make sure you have a Current Backup. You can do this in Vision by going into Vision>Utility>L (backup system) and B complete backup.
In order to change the decimals from 4 positions to 2, do the following.
1. Go into Inventory and pull up any part number.
2. Press F6 to go into Options
3. Press M to go to Menu Options
4. Press L (Round all price levels to XX decimals by Line)
5. Type in the File Access Code (PTM-FAC This is case sensitive)
6. You will be prompted to leave the product line empty in order to exit, or, to put ??? in the box to do ALL lines, or to type in a specific line code.
7. Once you have elected to do a specific line or ALL lines, click "OK".
8. You will then be prompted to type in the number of decimal places you want to have in your inventory.
Even tho it will show 2.000 in the box already, type 2.000 in the provided field and click "OK". The system will then begin to modify the decimal places and round up the numbers to give you the results. Once it is finished it will present you with the number of changes made, and an "OK" button. Click OK.
Once you click "OK" you will be returned to the Menu selection box. Click X or press X on your keyboard to go back to Inventory.
