If you have deposits missing from the prior year that will need to be entered in you will have to make these manual changes

Go into the previous year, move the invoices that the deposit is paying over to paid side (you will do this by going into the customers account receivable, double clicking on the posted column- this will open up the edit, and change the R to P, enter in the date of the deposit), once that is done go to the customers deposit screen, F2- new and assign a deposit number then enter in all the correct information (by doing a new record in her it will automatically post into your check register)

- to make sure that the account is in balance you can run the verify AR report (in the AR screen do F6-options, F- Verify Income, A- Verify AR, stick with your defaults- no to show refunds & yes to how deposits/adjustments) and/or check the audit trail (in the AR screen do F7-Trans, A-Audit Trail)

Once you have completed this step you will need to make your corrections in the current year by going into the customers AR and deleting the invoice/invoices the deposit paid
