How to use the Cycle Count to maintain your inventory and track inventory variances

1) identify items with NO location

R. Inventory Maintenance

A. Standard Count Sheet

V. Report By Location

do not enter any locations, select OK

select YES to the prompt "Would you like to Search for empty Locations"

P. Preview

fix the items showing empty location before running any cycle counts

2) Follow the details for Inventory Cycle Count sheet by Location.

3) Once the section is counted use the Variance report to detail out the $ amount in values changed from the count.
